Crisp, Colorful, Cutting-Edge: Introducing our Sublimation Printing for Exquisite Textile Labels!
At Signal Labels, we are thrilled to announce a major advancement in our printing capabilities – the addition of state-of-the-art sublimation printers to our machine park. This cutting-edge technology marks a new era for textile labels, unlocking a world of possibilities for customization, vibrant colors, and unmatched durability. With our long-standing commitment to excellence and innovation, we are excited to introduce sublimation printing as a game-changing option for textile labels.
In the following paragraphs, we will delve into the reasons behind our decision to invest in sublimation printing technology, explore the advantages it brings to the table, and highlight key differences between sublimation and traditional flexo printing.
Our New Printers in the Machine Park
Signal Labels has always strived to stay at the forefront of the technology, and our new sublimation printers are a testament to this commitment. These advanced printers open up a world of possibilities in textile label printing, allowing us to produce high-quality, vibrant, and durable labels that meet the most demanding requirements of our clients. We have added two Calendars and a sublimation printer with increased productivity.
The decision to embrace sublimation printing was driven by the multitude of advantages it offers.
Colours - One of the most significant benefits of sublimation printing is its ability to produce photo-quality images with rich colors and intricate
details. Unlike traditional printing methods, sublimation enables us to achieve smooth gradients and vivid colors, even on small labels.
Durability of the print - Sublimation printing creates labels with exceptional durability. Unlike surface-applied inks that may fade or peel over time, sublimation ink becomes a permanent part of the fabric. This unique property makes the labels highly resistant to fading, washing, and general wear and tear, ensuring that your brand image remains intact throughout the life of the product.
Difference between Labels Printed on Flexo Printers and Sublimation
While traditional flexo printing has been a reliable method for label production, sublimation printing takes it a step further. Sublimation ink turns into a gas when heated, permeating the fabric and creating a seamless bond between the ink and the material. As a result, sublimation-printed labels have no raised edges or texture, providing a premium, smooth finish that enhances the overall appearance of the product.
When a tonned label is needed with sublimation printing, the label remains soft with a natural feel, as the inks absorb into the material. While in flexo printing, toning hardens the top layer of the label from the inks.
Materials Used to Print Labels on Sublimation
The sublimation printing process is compatible with a wide range of polyester fabrics. Materials that are suitable for this type of printing must contain a minimum of 70% polyester.
Polyester satin is the preferred choice due to its high affinity for sublimation ink, resulting in labels with rich, fade-resistant prints with exceptional clarity.
Flexibility of the Design
At Signal Labels, we understand the importance of customization for our clients’ branding needs. With sublimation printing, we can accommodate even elaborate designs. From logos and graphics to photorealistic images, our sublimation printers can flawlessly reproduce every detail, bringing your vision to life with stunning precision.
Sublimation printing offers versatility that extends far beyond textile labels alone. We are excited to introduce this groundbreaking technology to a wide range of industries, with a special focus on the home textile and fashion sectors. Some of the products where sublimation printing can elevate your brand are: Bed sheets, Mattresses, pillows and cushions, decorative textiles, clothing and accessories, promotional products and many more.
Since the process is digital, the cost of clichés is eliminated, the settings are minimal but also more precise, making it an ideal choice for mass production without compromising on quality.
With the introduction of sublimation printing to our machine park, Signal Labels has taken a giant leap in the world of textile labels. The versatility, durability, and unmatched design flexibility of sublimation printing have made it an unrivaled choice for labels that leave a lasting impression. We are excited to offer this cutting-edge printing technology to our valued clients, opening up new horizons of creativity and excellence.
